Commissions
Commissions are once
again being accepted. Commissions include the following if it is
a full color piece, two sketches maximum, I really don't have the time
to re do the sketch half a dozen times. Minor changes like tail
length, little details, etc don't count as a 2nd sketch, that's just
fine tuning.
You will get a digital
preview of your sketches, a digital preliminary final version, and the
original drawing or painting when the commission is complete.
If the character is
extremely detailed or really unusual please provide reference picture
if possible. I prefer to be as accurate as possible to make my
clients happy, but some of the characters out there were not invented
for ease of drawing. :) So bear with me if your character
is really complicated. I may have to charge a small extra fee if
the character is really hard.
All artwork will bear my
signature and copyright information on the artwork. Your
characters are yours, and under your copyright, but the artwork itself
will be under my copyright.
I am willing to do artwork
of another artist's characters, on the condition that I have written
permission from that artist to do so.
I do my color work in acrylic paints, so do not expect your commission to be something that is quick, painting takes time. I will do my best to give you a rough estimate of when the work will be completed, and if there are any delays you will be notified as soon as humanly possible.
Types
of Commissions Accepted
Clothed characters, just remember that the clothing choice must be simple.
Cheesecake and pin up type
shots are more than welcome.
Rated-R type shots
XXX rated naughty shots are also acceptable commission choices. Male and female, though I will be truthful I am best at female characters.
I am willing to do some
forms of bondage art, I am not willing to portray any character in a
violent or unhappy situation. I am not comfortable with sadism or
cruelty type images and will not draw them. Sorry.
Prices
Pencil sketch with one character is $12.00
Inked with one character is $18.00
Full color with one character and a simple background $35.00
Full color with one
character on a complicated background $40.00
Extra characters will be
an additional $10-$20 per character on most commissions, providing the
poses and
characters are not complicated, at that point the price may increase a
little.
All prices are negotiable, contact
me for exact prices based on what you want.
Shipping
All commission work will
be shipped via Priority Mail for $4.05, shipping is not included with
the commission prices, and is expected to be paid along with the final
payment.
Art will be placed in a
protective sleeve, plastic if possible, but most of my work is done on
bristol or acrylic paper which comes in 9x12 inch sheets, but I am
willing to cut them down if prefered.
A fixative will be used on
pencil sketches to prevent smudging.
Insurance is available if
desired.

Completion dates are only rough
estimates and it is entirely possible I will finish sooner on some of
these. A few on the list have flexible dates and my estimations
are when I would like to have them done.
Payment Arrangements
I
would like to receive payment no more than 10 days after a digital
final version of the commission has been sent to the person requesting
the artwork. Payment needs to include shipping.
If
the time frame will be longer than 10 days, just make sure you
communicate with me and let me know when I can expect it.
If
you wish, a partial payment can be made before the work is done, but I
would prefer to get full payment after the work is done, just in case I
have a delay.
Preferred
methods are PayPal, Money Order or Personal Check.
If
paying through PayPal and the art is of an adult nature, make sure you
do not give them any reference as to the nature of the work being
purchased. They have some new puritan rules that would get the
funds confiscated from my account. So care must be taken if using
that method of payment. There is a $500 fine and loss of PayPal
privledges for both parties if they find out.
I
am looking into alternative online payment methods in future, but
meanwhile we have to play their game.
If
paying by Personal Check, please expect a delay until the check clears
the bank.
Money
Order payments will be shipped out upon receipt of the Money Order.
All
commissioned work will be shipped out as soon as payment is verified.
Note:
I live in a very small town, I can not ship anything on the weekends as
my Post Office is closed. However, I will ship items as soon as
they open during their normal business hours.
Other considerations
Please note that anyone asking for commissions in the month of May and after will need to accept that there will be a longer delay for completion of their requests. There is a very good reason for this, as a certain small person is expected to make an arrival around mid-May, and as much as I would like to accomdate everyone, this person is going to be a major distraction for a while during that time. So please be patient if your commission ends up falling in that time frame.
