Ceramic Gallery

These two ceramics were commissioned by Dave Ellis for Chris Yost & James Bruner for Xmas.  Turned ou pretty good...unfortunately the scanner as usual didn't do them proper justice..but you folks get the idea.  :)

Ok folks, here she is all done!  :)  She appears lighter on top due to the way she lays on the scanner bed, and since she is white it reflects a lot.  Sorry about that, I will try to take a camera shot of her in the near future.  I hope you all like how she came out!  (Permission was obtained from MBR for this ceramic.)

Here's the final version of Jessica Willard's "First Flight."  The cliff is actually a lighter color, but for some reason it came out dark on here.  Also my scanner was being onery so I ended up having to crop it close to the edges.  I hope you all like it! (FYI: I requested and received JW's permission before making this ceramic.)

This is a close up view of Dave Ellis' dragon which I painted for him.  He liked it so much he took this picture immediately and sent it to me.  *smile*  I will be posting a full body view as soon as I can, but thought I would use this for now.  Enjoy!

Ok, here's the full body pic.  *smile*  I love digital cameras!  Thanks Dave!

This big guy is a testimony to my stubborness.  He was busted into about 16 pieces at one point and I repaired him.  Can't even tell now, can you?  *smile*

A really neat looking mermaid.  I like her dolphin friend too.

Here's a Druid sorceror with his dragon familiar.

These two are called Romeo & Juliet.  He has flowers behind his back and is trying to kiss a rather shy Juliet.
These two were destroyed completely just before I got the chance to paint them by a gust of wind which dumped the box I was carrying them in upside down onto the concrete.  Several days of painstaking reconstruction restored them to almost their original state.  They currently reside over my wood stove as a reminder to never give up.  :)

This is just the cutest Mama dragon.  Baby isn't even out of his shell yet and Mama is holding him adoringly.

These are all the fairies I have ever painted, with the exception of the blue one, which I assisted my nieces in painting.  (They chose the colors, pretty good job don't you think?) I have individual pictures, but decided this would save space.  Hope you like them.  Especially you, Yvonne.  :)

This was a birthday gift for a friend, the lance was made by my father as the one that comes with it was broken before I bought the greenware.

Unfortunately the photo does not do it justice, but this is a custom piece, the dragon head is not the original, but I thought the original head was so goofy looking I changed the head with a more dignified dragon.

This was a dragon I painted for my brother.  It is bigger than it looks standing about 15" tall.

This is a really neat stein, has the knight fighting the dragon on one side and the dragon's hostages a woman and child on the other.  This is very tall, standing about 15" tall.

This was another gift for my brother, the picture came out a bit fuzzy.  This one has the original lance that comes with the mold, though I think I like the one my Dad made better.

This lady was done for another one of my friends, I love the flowing robes on her.  She stands about 8" high and though you can't see it too well on here her left had has fingers that splay out..I broke the middle one at least 6 times before she was finally fired.

I made these bookends for my niece, and her kitty Dinah just couldn't let me take a picture without her.
